Digital Citizenship

Stuart Mesa's Digital Citizenship Plan

Students today are growing up in a digital world, where they are constantly immersed in technology. Navigating cyberbullying, privacy, safety, and other digital dilemmas are a real challenge for students, schools, and families. But technology also provides incredible opportunities for students to learn, connect, create, and collaborate in ways never before imagined.

Stuart Mesa has developed a Digital Citizenship Plan to build a positive school culture that supports the safe and responsible use of technology. At school, students will receive direct instruction on a wide array of digital citizenship topics, including:

  • Internet Safety
  • Privacy & Security
  • Cyberbullying & Digital Drama
  • Digital Footprint & Reputation

We encourage parents to continue the Digital Citizenship conversation at home, using the resources from Common Sense Education
